BEAUTIFUL TO ME
She is, yes, she is one of a kind.
Not like one any where else,
not like any thing you would ever find,
nothing within your conceivable mind.
Bottle bottom glasses, and rashes by the masses,
did not seem to cover up her grotesque case of acne.
But all the same, because her body was lame,
she went by the name of Cagney.
Now Cagney was hip, but because of her lip,
she could not utter a word.
She would wobble around, making not a sound,
so she was no where to be heard.
Upon her visit to town, wearing her see through gown,
covered all in soot.
She proceeded to hop on the ground,
with her one and only good foot.
Well, she lost her balance, because of her limited talents,
and went tumbling to the earth.
Because of the fall, her arms did break, falling in the lake,
at which time she gave birth.
A son, a child, with a perfect smile,
one who would care like no other.
She nurtured, and gave, protecting to save.
I am proud to call her mother.
