Diamond Variety

 Diamonds are a girls best friend,
but when it comes to baseball, it falls to the men.
It's nothing that fits to the finger,
just a hit to a ball, and one more zinger,
that puts you closer to the hops of a win.

It's one, two, three strikes you're out
in this old ball game.
The ones that play are stern and stout,
and none of them play the same.

Men drool, and sweat to the sound of this sport,
like women do towards that other sort.
So diamonds come in quite a variety,
both fit well within our society.

But when men come to say,
they want a diamond to play,
don't rush out with their ring size today.
For they will look at you and pout,
then give a mighty stern shout,
