Jaymie (Second Verse)

Pity my sole from the pain it endures,
drawn from your heart of love that lures.
Blinding all sight,
like the darkness of night,
for which seeing you is my only cure.

Pity my thoughts for they invade my mind,
they are only of you, and of a gentle kind.
I try to turn to another thought,
but you are the one that I have always sought
pulling us together forever in time.

Pity all men for the loss they not know,
for in a category of women, they are all set below.
You are the sky,
while all others are ground.
You are the high,
while all others are bound.
Together we stand in an ever lasting glow.

Pity all that has been written for this marks an end.
I call you my love, and I call you my friend.
You must know now that all this is true,
for what these words mean, is I love you,
within this poem I send.
