MY DEAD TOY

The light slowly sinks across the
horizon,
as the darkness becomes the dominate part.
My favorite time of the day, to play.
Lock my door, and let the fun start.
Release myself from being coy,
it is time to play with my dead toy.
Hidden well under floor, beneath
the bed,
breathing in, to receive the smell.
Grasping the cloth still covered in red,
from the one time in which it bled.
Oh yes, it is ready to play, I can tell.
Drag it from its warm moist
spot,
and bring the lights to dim,
for its beauty is intense within the glow.
It is so beautiful, I kiss it where its face once was,
I kiss it very slow.
We played awhile, until a knock
fell upon my door,
and I quickly put my toy back to its home.
I knew this evening we would play no more,
so I gave out a silent moan.
I opened the door. Standing
there peacefully awaiting,
was this figure of authority, I had always been hating.
My mother, always a subject to which I have been sore,
and one day would settle the score.
"Its been two weeks
now sense you lost your dog".
She tried to make it look as if she cared,
but I was relentless, and back I starred.
"What is it that you
want" I replied,
seeing her only as a figure of murder.
She kneeled down, and sighed.
"We have you a new pet, a cat just for you".
For this I was set, and she knew this too,
because within my heart, I knew she lied.
Suddenly with a scare, past me
it ran,
a four legged creature with a light colored tan.
A small creature with life, not snuffed out by strife,
brought over from within my mothers van.
The door was shut, and I was
along with the furry creature.
Now to settle that score, for this animal will take a class.
I will be the teacher,
and learn this creature,
with the discipline of a broken piece of glass.
As I taught, a voice came
through the door,
while me and my dead toys were on the floor.
"Are you having fun, with your new friend in there?"
"Yes I am".
I said this knowing now, that soon she would be dead.
"Yes, you will join my friends soon".
As I chuckled to myself.
"Yes, you will be with them upon tonights rising moon.
